FRONT GARDEN FIX
May 2019
A front of house area for my client, like for a lot of people is often problematic. The front garden also doubled as a parking area, the garden was very rocky, steep and tricky to manage.
My client mainly wanted some ideas, pulling together her own thoughts and needs, she needed a garden that was much easier to manage, as it was steeply sloped. Something tidy and looking attractive to come home to every day.
There were other factors for me to consider when sketching, like the quick draining soil, pollution from closely parked cars and of course how to take a steep slope and insert some levels to make gardening easier without amounting a huge cost of the build.
It was a small front garden with some simple fixes, a couple of new levels and a tidy up with some colourful, strategic planting with all year round interest.
